Built for long-haul efforts, the Mafate X delivers supreme plushness with a dual-density, premium foam chassis, PEBA top layer, and a pop of propulsion thanks to our forked carbon fiber plate. We’ve implemented an ultralight woven upper that allows for easy drainage and Vibram® Megagrip outsole with pod-like cutouts to ensure a smooth ride over variable terrain.

I've been running in Salomon for years, and the Mafate X doesn't disappoint. The stability on uneven terrain is top-notch. I used them for a 10k trail race last weekend and my feet felt fresh the whole time. The lacing system keeps everything locked in without being too tight. Highly recommend for serious trail runners looking for reliability and comfort.

They are okay. Expected more cushioning for the price. Good for short distances but my knees hurt after a long run. Might be better for faster, shorter workouts.
