A workhorse for sloppy, wet conditions, the Speedgoat 5 Mid GTX is built with the same GORE-TEX membrane as its lower profile counterpart, along with a soft heel tab to accommodate the Achilles and flexible collar for extra ankle support. Grounded in Vibram® Megagrip with Traction Lug for enhanced grip on loose soil, this trail icon employs a foot-cradling heel bolster, rubber toe cap, and gusseted tongue to keep trail debris at bay.

Perfect fit! I usually struggle with finding hiking boots that don't rub my heels, but these are comfortable from day one. The speed lacing system is also a nice touch for quick adjustments on the trail.

Great traction and waterproofing. Took them on a muddy trail in Vermont and stayed clean and dry. Only complaint is the laces feel a bit cheap, but that's an easy fix. Overall very satisfied.

Disappointed with the sizing. I ordered my usual size, but they were too tight in the toe box. Had to return them. The quality seems good, but the fit just didn't work for me.

These boots are a game changer for my daily dog walks on unpaved paths. The Vibram sole provides incredible stability on loose gravel. I appreciate the mid-cut design as it gives just enough ankle support without restricting movement. Definitely buying another pair for backup.

Dude, these things are beasts! Crushed a 10K trail race in them. No blisters, no hot spots. The toe cap protection saved me from some nasty rocks. 10/10 would buy again.

Been using Salomon for years, and the Speedgoat 5 Mid doesn't disappoint. The mid-cut gives just enough ankle support without feeling restrictive. My go-to for rocky terrain now.

Great all-rounder. Use them for hiking and casual wear. Comfortable enough for all-day wear. Wish the laces were a bit longer for locking them in tighter, but that's minor.
